Covid Prayer The Moon Studioz’s Song - ‘Humein Tanha Na Chhodna’

     


The pandemic. Disease. Pain. Death. Fear. If there ever was a time for support and strength - it’s now! Here’s a little effort - The Moon Studioz’s - ‘Humein Tanha Na Chhodna’.

 



More than a song, it’s a call to the almighty from the heart’s core. To hold our hand in this storm. To protect us from this invisible demon. To be with us in these desperate times.

The song has been evocatively encased in a montage of stills and footage, the completed production of which tugs at the heart strings, perfectly amalgamated with soulful vocals and heart-touching lyrics. The essence: Our Prayers are Stronger than Covid. 

Vandana Sethhi, founder, The Moon Studioz (also an advertising veteran) and legendary film editor, director - Aseem Sinha over one of their regular chats felt the need for a prayer for these times. They shared the thought with veteran creative director - Amit Baid who has written the lyrics. Ace Music director - Bapi Bhattacharya (earlier, Khosla Ka Ghosla, Sarkar, Sarkar Raj) heard the idea and the lyrics; and was immediately onboard. The project could only come alive with the unflinching support of Aseem Sinha. Deepest gratitude to him.

 

Producer Vandana Sethhi says, “When all else has been tried, there will only be God. It’s time for God to come down and destroy this demon called Covid. This invisible enemy of humankind. That’s our prayer.”

 

Amit Baid, the lyricist, illustrates the spirit of the expression, “The prayer works at two levels. Firstly, it captures the pain of the situation - connecting with one and all. Secondly, it carries the emotions towards positivity and hope; invoking the almighty at all times.’’

 

“The musical challenge was to stir up the heart… while elevating the lyrics to make an impact. You will find the orchestration to be minimal and the voice - folksy because more than a song, it’s a call.” reflects Bapi Bhattacharya.

After the grand success of Stefano Ricci’s flagship store in Mumbai, this will be the second store in India. SUPERDRY presents Urban Street Nights with Yami Gautam


Hosted at Lakme Fashion Week with celebrities and influencers


Superdry hosted an exclusive party ‘Urban Street Nights’ along with b-town celebrity Yami Gautam to launch its AW’18 and SuperdrySport collection at ‘The Apartment’ by Reliance Brands Limited during the Lakme Fashion Week.



The latest season represents a collection of bold clashing colours and statement up-scaled logo prints to pull a story together in ‘Urban Street’ and create an edgy statement look. Menswear’s ‘Back in the day’ collection looks to the early 80’s New York beat box scene and old school breakdancing on flattened boxes for inspiration.




The newly introduced SuperdrySport aims to bring innovative sportswear in India to those who crave individuality and are not afraid to stand out. This season, SuperdrySport will be launched exclusively on Jabong.



Yami Gautam, one of the most beloved Bollywood actresses decided to break free from the circle of fashion shows and join us to host the coolest party of the season!



Styled in Superdry by Mohit Rai, Yami kick-started the evening by unveiling a Superdry painting inspired by the street art in Mumbai followed by a celebration of Superdry’s most popular selling vintage t-shirt. Whatever season it may be – I love Superdry! Sunil Grover breaks the fourth wall in ‘Coffee With D’ to refrain from Smoking



Sunil Grover is known to be an ace actor and has proved his metal, time and again, with all the characters he has played on television. The actor who will be seen as a protagonist in the upcoming ‘Coffee With D’, has delivered yet another powerful performance and will be seen playing the character of a primetime journalist Arnab. Since the character in the movie is from the media industry, the film makers reveal that there are various moments where Sunil is seen breaking the fourth wall in this entertaining film with a very unique subject.


 


Whenever he craves to smoke a cigarette, by virtue of being on camera all the time, he removes a cigarette from a pack and breaks the fourth wall between him and the audience and jokes about the line that appears on screen during a smoking shot and chucks smoking a cigarette. He does that multiple number of times, till he reaches ‘D’. Known for his spectacular timing, when Sunil’s character is interviewing ‘D’, he unhesitantly smokes his cigarette and talks to the audience directly and lets the warning line, "Smoking is injurious to health", appear.


The entertaining narrative is employed by writer-director Vishal Mishra, to drive the audience to the point. Talking about the sequence he said, “There are various instances in the film, where the narrative breaks the fourth wall and gives a humorous take on censorship. The censors have been very sporting about the comment and have enjoyed the timing of these sequences.”

Slated to release on the 20th of January, Coffee with D is directed & written by Vishal Mishra. It is produced under the banner of Apex Entertainment by Vinod Ramani and also stars Zakir Hussain, Dipannita Sharma & Anjana Sukhani in pivotal roles.

 Foodhall, a premium lifestyle food superstore ushers in to the summers with a food festival: CANTINA – THE MEXICAN FIESTA that will highlight the myriad aspects of Mexican cuisine all through the month of April. The rich culinary tradition of Mexican cuisine is diverse, traced back to Native American Aztec and Mayan traditions, as well as Spanish colonial influences, resulting in a prevalence of corn, bean and rice based dishes. The Mexican trail at Foodhall @ Palladium begins at the fresh juice bar with a tall glass of Fresh Watermelon Agua Fresca & Jalapeno Lemonade to beat the heat. Wrapped in the décor of Mexicano, the live demo counter at Foodhall will be whipping some Black Bean homemade Tostadas, the sunny side-up of Huevos Rancheros straight from the Mexican farms, Jalapeno & Mango Quesadillas and Mushroom & Spinach Enchiladas. For quick tastings, the store has sampled 5 layered dip, black bean dip, nachos cheese sauce, chipotle and tomato salsa, pineapple salsa, raw mango salsa, chopped jalapenos to tickle your taste buds.
  
The Cool Salsa Verde Bar
Just like a dedicated guacamole bar which is oh-so-avocadolicious, Foodhall is introducing Salsa Verde Corner this month – a sauce made from tomatillos (Mexican green tomatoes) which can be served with nacho chips, as a side, on top of huevos rancheros or in a burrito. In addition, the sampling of Enchilada & Chimichurri sauce (great as a marinade with paneer, chicken and vegetable) will further enhance the Mexican feel of the store.
